Alen Halilovic to Fortuna
Alen Halilovic is returning to the Dutch fields. The 27-year-old midfielder has signed for one year, with the option for two additional seasons.
Halilovic is familiar with the Eredivisie, in the 2019/2020 season sc Heerenveen hired the Croatian from AC Milan. "It feels good to be back in the Netherlands," said the 10-time international. "I spoke with Stipe Radic and Ivo Pinto recently, they were very complimentary about Fortuna and the plans. In any case, I am looking forward to being on the pitch here in the Fortuna Sittard Stadion and meeting the supporters."

Halilovic was accepted into Barcelona's youth training program at a young age. Meanwhile, his record includes clubs from Spain, Italy, Germany and England, among others. In 2022, Halilovic returned to Croatia at NHK Rijeka. The left-winger has over 250 matches in professional soccer behind his name.
