Fortuna immediately brought in a replacement after the exit of Tijjani Noslin. 21-year-old Jayden Braaf joins the Sittardenaren on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

The winger comes over from Hellas Verona, the club that in turn bought Noslin from Fortuna. In Italy, Braaf shot himself into the history books at the age of 18 by becoming the youngest Dutch goal scorer ever in Serie A, at that time as a player of Udinese.

After serving in Italy, Braaf will join the selection of head coach Danny Buijs in the coming months. "I am happy to return to the Netherlands. I played a lot in the Netherlands in my youth, but have not yet been able to show myself at the highest level. With the experiences I gained abroad in recent years, I hope to be of immediate value to this team."

Americo Branco is happy that the club has managed to bring in a replacement for Noslin right away. "With Jayden we bring in a talented player who has a great future ahead of him. It is no coincidence that he has been under contract to clubs like Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund. Given that Tijjani was leaving to Hellas Verona, we were in a position to bring this creative attacker to the Netherlands on a temporary base."

Braaf played in the youth academy of both Ajax and PSV. In 2018, he made the switch to English superpower Manchester City. After a loan period at Udinese, the striker joined Borussia Dortmund, the club that sold him to Hellas Verona 1,5 years ago.
