Fortuna strengthens team with Edouard Michut
Fortuna has secured the services of Edouard Michut with immediate effect. The midfielder has signed a contract until the summer of 2027.
Michut makes the transfer to Sittard on a free deal after his contract with Adana Demirspor was terminated in mid-August. “I am happy to be back on the field with teammates. Recently I have had good talks with Americo Branco and trainer Danny Buijs, which makes me sure that Fortuna is a great next step in my career. I was in the stadium against sc Heerenveen and it felt good right away. I'm looking forward to getting started here.”
The 21-year-old Frenchman comes from the youth academy of Paris Saint-Germain. In 2021, the youth international made his debut on behalf of the top club, followed by loan periods at Sunderland and Adana Demirspor. The Turkish club took Michut over permanently last summer, but the cooperation was short-lived.
