Fortuna played a closed practice match against FC Dordrecht on Saturday afternoon. The match in Sittard ended in a 4-1 victory.

Danny Buijs had to puzzle somewhat ahead of the match against FC Dordrecht. The head coach saw four players fly out for international duty, while Dimitrios Siovas and Ragnar Oratmangoen were also unavailable. That was offset by the return of Tijjani Noslin, who appeared immediately at kickoff.

With ten minutes on the clock, the brakes went off. Korede Osundina tried from the edge of the box, but his effort flew past Ivor Pandur's goal. Then Fortuna took over the initiative. Arianit Ferati served Kaj Sierhuis, the striker slid the ball past the wrong side of the post. A few minutes later it was Loreintz Rosier who took the Dordrecht goal under fire. A messy situation in the FC Dordrecht sixteen ended with the French midfielder, the ball disappeared over Luca Plogmann's goal.

The FC Dordrecht goalkeeper had to fish a few moments later. Iñigo Córdoba had his first attempt turned away, but the rebound tipped the net. After the opening goal Fortuna went in search of the second goal, with Noslin and Córdoba having the chance to double the margin. Sierhuis tried from his own half, but his attempt ended up going wide of the goal.

Immediately after the tea break, it was substitute Milan Robberechts who created danger. The attacker went alone towards the Dordrecht goal and tried to get in the short corner, Plogmann saved. A few minutes later it was still 2-0. The strong-playing Ferati slid the ball past the goalkeeper into the goal. After the goal things subsided and FC Dordrecht took over the initiative. It resulted after an hour of play in Rene Kriwak's equalizer.

Immediately after the connecting goal, Fortuna appeared again in front of the guests' goal. Córdoba had the perfect opportunity to increase the margin back to two, the Spaniard found Plogmann in his path. It was finally Remy Vita who got the scoreboard moving again. A hard shot disappeared, via the goalkeeper, into the top corner. Not much later Fortuna was again close to a goal, with Robberechts' shot hitting the post.

Fifteen minutes before time, Fortuna extended its lead even further. After a good action Robberechts delivered the ball to Mouhamed Belkheir: 4-1. The visitors from Dordrecht tried to force something in the closing stages. Jari Schuurman and Joey van Gennip, among others, went close, but were unable to pass Luuk Koopmans.

Line-up: Pandur (46' Koopmans), Pinto (61' Guth), Guth (46' Griffith), Voet, Dijks, Rosier (20' Belkheir), Ferati, Halilovic (61' Vita), Noslin (46' Robberechts), Sierhuis (77' Halilovic) en Córdoba (81' De Jong).
