Lev Vinken and Tjardo Paliama new eSporters

Fortuna will be represented by two newcomers in the new KPN eDivision season.
Tjardo Paliama and Lev Vinken are representing Fortuna as eSporters in the KPN eDivision, which will restart next week. Both eSporters are from the stable of ECV esports, the club's official partner.
Tjardo Paliama
Paliama is absolutely no stranger to the eDivision. In the past, the former Almere City youth player played for Vitesse and Ajax, among others. With the Amsterdammers he managed to capture the eDivisie championship in his first year. It earned Paliama a nice move to English West Ham United. After one season representing The Hammers, he returned to the Dutch league last summer where he played for sc Heerenveen.
Paliama hopes to repeat the trick of winning the championship in the KPN eDivisie this year at Fortuna. "I am looking forward to representing Fortuna in the eDivisie. I have great confidence in the cooperation with Lev and am convinced that together we will form a strong team to achieve the right results, starting next Tuesday when we kick off the season against FC Volendam," said the brand new eSporter of Fortuna.
Lev Vinken
Vinken is also a familiar face in the eDivision, a player who brings a lot of experience with him. The 23-year-old Vinken played as an eSporter in the past for clubs such as Ajax, Sparta Rotterdam and Heracles Almelo. Vinken not only played in the virtual Eredivisie, but also represented the Netherlands several times as a player of E_Orange.
Vinken is delighted to represent the yellow and green of Fortuna in the eDivisie this season. "After several years of absence in the eDivisie, I am happy to make my return to the Dutch league this coming season and show my qualities again on a weekly basis. I am greatly looking forward to the start next week and am sure that together with Tjardo I will form a good team and we will be able to achieve great performances," said Vinken.
EA Sports FC 24
Unlike other years, from this year the soccer simulation game is called EA Sports FC 24. This makes it the successor to the well-known FIFA games. The game takes center stage in the KPN eDivision. The new season starts for Fortuna next Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 6:30 p.m. and can be viewed live weekly on ESPN, YouTube and Twitch.
