Loreintz Rosier makes switch to Fortuna
Fortuna has strengthened its midfield with Loreintz Rosier. The 24-year-old midfielder has signed for two seasons, with the option for an additional year.
"I am looking forward to this new chapter," said the Frenchman, who in recent seasons played for Portugal's Estoril. "For me, Fortuna feels like the right step at this stage of my career. I will obviously do everything I can, together with my teammates, to make it a great season."
Americo Branco is pleased with Rosier's arrival. "With Loreintz, a great opportunity presented itself on the market," said the technical manager. "He has shown in recent years to be one of the better defensive midfielders in the Portuguese league. He has good physicality, is good on the ball and also has a good pass. Loreintz is definitely going to be of value to us in the coming years."
In his youth years, Rosier played for Clairefontaine, Paris FC and Sochaux. Nevertheless, it did not come to a debut in his homeland. In 2018, he made the switch to Portugal. Via the second team of Vitoria Guimarães, he eventually joined Estoril, playing at the highest level. For the Portuguese premier league player, Rosier came to 89 matches.
