Mika Peters signs first professional contract

The Limburger has signed a commitment for a season and a half, with the option for two additional seasons. "I am enormously proud," said a beaming Peters. "But at the same time I still have a long way to go, I realize that too. It's up to me to keep working hard and be there when the opportunities arise. I'm going to do everything in my power to do that."

Peters joined the Fortuna Academy through the youth plan in 2011 and has been making his minutes for Fortuna U21 since 2021. The Heerlen native made his unofficial debut in the preparation for the current season, in the practice match against VfL Bochum (1-1).
