Venla Lindfors strengthens Fortuna Women
Venla Lindfors, a Finnish football player, born on October 9, 2003, switches to the Fortuna Women.
The Finnish football player, born on October 9, 2003, is switching to the Fortuna Women. Before that, the midfielder played for the Swedish Lidköpings FK in the Elitettan, the second division of women's football in Sweden. In the 2023-2024 season she made 25 appearances, scoring three times and also putting her name on the scoreboard in the Svenska Cupen. She was also named player of the year.
She moved to Sweden at a young age and played for Hammarby F19, among others. After about a year and a half, when the corona pandemic broke out, she signed a contract with the Finnish top division. Her professional career started in Finland with Honka in the Naisten Liiga, before moving back to Sweden in 2022. She has also gained experience with the Finnish youth teams, including U19 and U23.
