Úmaro Embaló via Cartagena on loan to Rio Ave FC

Fortuna let the 22-year-old Portuguese leave on a loan deal with FC Cartagena at the end of the summer transfer window. In Spain, Embaló made eighteen appearances for the club that is active at the second-highest level. Since the new calendar year, Embaló was not in the Spaniards' matchday squad. After mutual agreement, it was decided to dissolve the loan agreement.

Embaló thus returns to the country where his football career started. Rio Ave will loan the Guinea-Bissau-born striker from the Sittardeners for the rest of the season. The club is currently in place 16 at the highest level in Portugal.
