Cup game against Sparta Nijkerk on November 1

Saturday evening the draw for the first round of the KNVB Cup took place. Fortuna was paired with Sparta Nijkerk, playing in the third division. The match will be played at Sportcomplex de Ebbenhorst, home of the Gelderland club.

It is the first time since 2017 that Fortuna will meet an opponent that does not play in professional soccer. Fortuna was then paired with VV Noordwijk in the first of the cup tournament. A goal by Djibril Dianessy was enough for the next round.
