Cole Bassett returns to Colorado Rapids

Cole Bassett is leaving Fortuna and returning to Colorado Rapids. Due to the low number of playing minutes, the clause in the lease agreement was used, whereby the American can be recalled prematurely by his original employer. The commitment thus ends on December 31, by mutual agreement it was decided to let Bassett return to America in the meantime.

The one-time international hoped to make flying hours in Sittard, something that did not work out well enough during his rental period with Feyenoord. Even in Sittard, playing minutes were ultimately limited. The 21-year-old came to 270 minutes in the yellow and green, spread over twelve matches. He scored once, in the cup game against N.E.C. Nijmegen.
