The winter break has arrived for (most) youth teams of the Fortuna Academy. Time to take stock.

Fortuna U21 had to chase provincial rivals VVV-Venlo for a long time. This changed with the finish line in sight, three games before the end the Venlo competitor lost to Hercules. Head coach Gino Facenna's team took over the lead that weekend and never relinquished it. In the last match, a visit to Alphense Boys, the championship in the fourth division was secured with a 0-2 win.

Fortuna U19
was unbeatable in the fifth division. Head coach Ahmed Ammi's team won the first ten games. The eleventh and final match was drawn at TSC. The U19 was already champion at that time, so the result was mainly for statistics.

Fortuna U17
had a difficult season in the second division. In the regular season, the U17s finished in seventh place, which meant they ended up in the relegation group. As a result, Gino Curfs' team still has to work hard, because the last match of the group will be played on December 21. That will be an important one, because then the match against direct competitor FC Eindhoven is on the program.

Fortuna U15 played a commendable season in the third division, but had to leave the championship to their peers from FC Den Bosch. Maurice Hamstra's team kept the Brabanders in sight for a long time, but had a disappointing series with the finish line in sight, with no wins in the last five games. On the last match day there was a creditable draw against the champion from Den Bosch. Due to the draw, the U15 finished second in the rankings, with a better goal difference than Helmond Sport.

Fortuna U14
was lord and master in the third division. The team, led by Keano van den Boogaart, collected a total of 35 points. This left it well ahead of competitors FC Eindhoven, MVV Maastricht and Helmond Sport. The championship was thus secured early on.

Fortuna U13-1
missed out on the championship, but is promoted to the second division. FC Utrecht was lord and master and won all matches. Kevin Stawenga's team settled behind the Domstedelingen, with a wide lead over MVV Maastricht, among others.

Fortuna U13-2
, represented by the U12 class, played in two phases in the main class. The first round ended with a championship. Five of the six matches were won, putting Maarten Walbers' team in the lead. Things went a little less well in the second round and the U13-2 finished in third place.

Fortuna U12
, represented by the U11 class, played - just like the U13-2 - two rounds in the main class. The team finished the first phase in sixth place. In the second round, U12 finished fourth.
