Fortuna pioneers with first fully AI-generated video
Fortuna Sittard today presented its first fully AI-generated video, to which only a few existing videos from the promotion were added. The production was created in collaboration with the technology company Excury.
The video looks back on various historic moments that form the common thread in the club's history. Lady Fortuna, the goddess of fate and luck, guides the club at the right moments and will remain close to us now and in the future. Given her crucial role in the past and present, Lady Fortuna will be given a more prominent role within the club.
Pioneers Of Dutch Football
With this video, the club underlines its ambition to be progressive. The positioning ‘Pioneers Of Dutch Football’, which harks back to the origins of professional football in the Netherlands, is thus reinforced. This new way of communicating is already widely used within the club, but generating a video entirely through artificial intelligence is a new step forward.
‘Pioneering is in our club's DNA,’ says marketing manager Nick Verheijen. ‘We want to implement our positioning as pioneers in our policy as well, which is why we are constantly looking for innovative ideas and ways to surprise our fans. What makes this collaboration special is that, thanks to artificial intelligence, we were able to generate images that are not normally available. This gives the video an unique dynamic experience.’
