Kingstalent and Fortuna Academy team up

Fortuna Academy and KingsTalent have found each other in a partnership. The Dutch company offers talented soccer players the chance to combine their sport and studies in America, a path already taken by youth players such as Floris van der Bruggen and Puck Langenveld. Both are currently active for a college team in the United States.
A nice development, is how Kemal Calik labels the cooperation. "The priority remains to train players for the first team," the head of youth training begins. We raise the bar a little higher every year, this way we ensure that the Fortuna Academy again becomes a leading education. This also means that talents are leaving. For these talents, Kingstalent offers a good alternative."
With the partnership, Fortuna also wants to take responsibility. "We want youth players who leave the club to leave us with a filled backpack. We see it as our responsibility to make sure our youth players end up well. The level in America is very high, combined with a good education this creates a strong foundation for the future."
Paul de Koning, CEO of KingsTalent, also sees many opportunities. "The development you make as a student-athlete is huge in many areas. A good match between talent and school is essential in this, that's what we are here for. That is the strength of KingsTalent. We want to offer the talents a wonderful experience while continuing to motivate them to go for it, both academically and athletically. We therefore see the cooperation with Fortuna as a great step for our company."
