Samantha van Diemen stays in Sittard

The 21-year-old Leiden native now remains under contract with the club until 2024. Van Diemen began her soccer career at UVS in Leiden and then played for the CTO Amsterdam team before transferring to the Ajax Talenteam in 2018. In 2019, she signed a contract with the Ajax Women's main squad. Last summer, she made the switch to Feyenoord, which made its debut in the Eredivisie with a women's team in the 2021/22 season.

"I am excited to continue my time at Fortuna Sittard and continue to strive for success in the league together with my teammates," she said.
